Minutes after me and my family walked in we were on our way out. I went to the chech in counter and i cancelled my stay. Score 4 out of 5 Clean, Basic hotel, friendly staff Michael, Chicago, IL, 2006-02-20 There is a very popular bar right behind the hotel and a couple of diner-type places within a couple of blocks.The hotel staff did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. We arrived right after an ice storm and the hotel was operating on partial power and every room was taken. They provided blankets for those rooms where the heat wasn't working well due to the power outage. They remained cheerful and friendly throughout and I will stay there again on my next trip. For the money, you got nothing. The heater/air conditioner ran continuous...and it was either hot to cold. No in between. Just to sleep at night we had to turn the heat off. If I were to do it again, which I won't, I would choose to stay in Mount Pleasant. Only 20 miles away, and the amenities would have to beat this. |
