We had a great time. nice rooms, nice pool and spa.would like rooms to have humidifiers, and pool was clean , but, too cold.

Clean Room/ Cold Pool and Shower

It is only about a five minute drive to a quaint downtown area with lots of very nice locally owned restaurants.

The rooms were very clean and well kept, but the showers were cold and the pool was freezing. We heard several other patrons at breakfast, in the pool, and at the front desk complained of the same. The price was very good compared to other hotels in the area with similar rooms. Other than the cold water, I would have nothing but good things to say.

try the make your own belgean waffles at the hotel

In the center of Traverse City well maintained .Good size rooms, elevator to 2nd floor. STAFF very helpfull. One drawback would be could use more parking.

There is a grocery store just a few blocks away, very vlose to downtown and many places to dine nearby.

I was impressed with the hotel service staff and how accomodating they were. The hotel was upkept wonderfully. Very comfortable place to stay.

Nice hotel for an independant

My wife and I stayed here for our first anniversary. Nothing against the big chain hotels, but we like to try these lesser known ones. Traverse Bay Lodge is a nice place in a nice location. We especially liked being able to make our own belgium waffels with the complimentary breakfast.

Our stay at Traverse Bay Lodge was one of the most finest and enjoyable stays at any hotel we have ever been to. The staff was great and very freindly. Only minutes away from all the beauties that the Traverse Bay area has to offer. We made the best of our stay and enjoyed every minute of our time at Traverse Bay Lodge.
