Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Affordable place to crash Anonymous, Detroit, MI The actual room we got smelled of pee, like the bathroom may not have been completely clean, or someone peed on the floor. Other than that, it was sufficient. We got a no-frills room at a no-frills cost, and that was really the goal. I was worried about the neighborhood, but it's set off on a little business-district street alongside the highway, off the main strip of Miller Rd. in Flint. Lots of business there at the intersection of Miller Rd and I-75. Either way you drive, there are restaurants, gas stations, strip malls, etc. to get whatever you need. We were mildly dissatisfied with the smell of the room, but ultimately we would book here again. Score 1 out of 5 Buyer Beware Charles, West Palm Beach, FL, 2006-02-06 Several restaurants within walking distance. The Motel 6 Flint, Michigan was a complete surprise. Having never stayed in a Motel 6 I expected much more. I was sent to a room that had been partied in the night before (or before that). Piles of trash two to three feet high were in the room in three places, the beds wee unmade, and there were stains on the carpet. For a non-smoking room, the room reeked with smoke odor. I was sent tot another room on the opposite side of the same building and it was better, however the wood floors of the units reverberated every time someone enetered their room throughout the building and shook the snow off of their feet from the snow covered walkway that was about 3" deep. No recommendation of any kind available from this experience. Score 3 out of 5 An average motel Louis, 2005-11-12 I arived late at night and left early the next moring. I have no knowledge of what is near the motel. For a one night stay the room was acceptable. I would not spend more than one night in a motel of this type. The carpeting was tred bear and unclean. But for the price I paid I will not complain. Score 4 out of 5 Good for weekend stay Anonymous, Detroit, MI, 2005-07-31 Applebee's Bennigans Don Pablos Arby's McDonalds Hooters FudruckersI stayed only for the weekend because I was workinging in that area. I chose this hotel because it was affordable for me and didn't really need anything fancy. I was real surprised on the location. There was shopping and lots of Restaurants near by. I really liked liked. It also had a outdoor pool which I did not know about. It looked pretty good. I would recommend this place to someone who just needs to stay somewhere for the weekend and doesn't want to pay to much. |
