I liked the bathroom being separate from the vanity. However the vanity was a little small just did not have any room to place make up bags. The room were roomy, and the mattresses comfortable. The staff was great, and although they did not have a fitness center, they gave me a pass to a very good nearby fitness center. Portland Martha, Hartford, CT, 2006-12-31 There is a lot of shopping nearby. The Maine Mall is huge.The Comfort Inn in South Portland, ME was a very friendly place to stay. The person at the desk on check-in was cheerful and very helpful. I was somewhat disappointed with the bathroom. The vanity area was separate, which was fine, but the bath a toilet area was extremely small. Otherwise, the room was quite nice. The breakfast area was quite nice. There was a nice variety of things to eat and drink, and everything was kept well-stocked. There were enough tables and chairs for all and a TV to watch the news. The location was good. It is very near the Portland Airport, the Maine Mall, Rt 95, and there are many family style restaurants in the immediate area.The Confort Inn in South Portland was a relatively inexpensive hotel, conveniently located near the Portland Airport and the Maine Mall. There are family restaurants near by, which is helpful as the hotel does not have a reataurant of its own. The room was clearn, but very basic. No extras- including no box of kleenex, etc. Fine place to stay, when you just need a bed, don't want to spend a lot of money, and want to be near the airport.
