Bar Harbor-great shops Whale watching trips out of Bar Harbor Still looking for a moose, the closest I came was the great store called 'The cool Moose'!We only spent 1 night at the Acadia Inn, but would have enjoyed staying longer if we did not have to get back to work! It was a comfortable room & met our needs. I was particularly impressed with the staff. They helped us with directions & information. There was a terrific breakfast. We were able to get coffee at 5:30AM. The Inn was located in a great location for both Acadia National Park & to Bar Harbor! I would definitely stay there again. It was conveniently located to both the Acadia Park and Bar Harbor. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub after a day of hiking in Acadia Park. While we didn't have a view of the ocean, the Inn was very well maintained and comfortable, a great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
