We flew in late to Portland & the staff was on hand to welcome us on a very rainy night - had a first floor room which is very nice. Excellent location - near airport & close to major highway - easy to find even in the rain. Comfortable king sized bed! Bathroom had seperate vanity space from tub/shower combo which is always a plus. Nice breakfast with lots of hot coffee, breads & sweet rolls, juices, hot & cold cereal, muffins -- lots of choices. There are plenty of restaurants or shopping if you have the time - very close to the Maine Mall. We will stay there again - extremely economical.

The Days Inn South Portland was conveniently located right off HWY 95 and was easy to find despite construction. It is located near a mall and several restaurants so there was plenty to do! The staff recommended a wonderful restaurant for a lobster dinner and gave good directions. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free continental breakfast the next morning was far better than any I have ever seen before with pastries, cereal, fresh fruit as well as bagels and bread.

1. If you love shopping the mall is practically right across the street, and there is also target and old navy just around the corner.

Had a wonderful nights rest at the Days Inn, Portland. Beds were comfortable and shower was extremly nice. Room was warm and cozy and was excellent location to Portland area. The morning breakfast had a lot of choices and front desk workers were very help. I would def. stay there again.

We arrived at 12AM and the desk person helped us with our luggage to our room that I thought was outstanding..

There were plenty of restaraunts nearby. Longhorn, Chilis, South of the Border and that was in walking distance. Around the corner were alot more to chose from. Bugaboo Creek, TGI Fridays. Not to Mention the Maine Mall was right across the street. A huge selection of shopping stores there.

I was very impressed with this hotel, with the price I paid. I wasnt really expecting to much for the price I was quoted. But to my surprise this hotel was very friendly, clean and very affordable on Christmas eve..I loved the continental Breakfast, they really out did themselves..I will return..

the shopping in Portland is fabulous

The Portland Days inn was a great place to stay for our shopping trip. Their location was terrific, close to restaurants and the mall. the room was fabulous, the girls and I found the beds to be very comfotable and the pillows very fluffy. Your continental breakfast was the best we have enjoyed in all the trips we have taken. There was lots to choose from and the dining hall was a pleasure to eat in. I would just like to thank you for making our trip the best yet, we will be back soon!

Shopping, dining, entertainment! It's all close by!

We had a very good stay, the room was comfortable. Shopping and dining was close by. The continential breakfast was great. Staff was extremely professional and friendly.
