very modest but adequate

You do need to expect to drive. There is one neighborhood restraunt across the street, but most other food and shopping is 1/2 to 1 mile by car.

If you are satisfied with a no frills motel room, this is a good value for the money. The location on Balitmore Ave is very convenient to the whole College Park, Silver Spring area. I'm always a little put off when there's bullet proof glass at the front desk, but I didn't see anything particularly frightening about the neighborhood. I know many business associates who wouldn't stay there because it doesn't match their image. However, I had a decent bed with a somewhate outdated bedspread, but who cares. The carpet was dated, but who cares. The TV was old, but worked fine. The towels weren't too thick to dry your ears with, but neither are mine at home. Nothing was new.... so? They have wirelesss, which was important to me. Good location, nice people, good price. I'll stay there again. I just won't recommend it to my snobby friends.

Small and Uncomfortable

The hotel is very close to The University Of Maryland

The room itself was small but the the bathroom was unsatisfactory. It was so small that when you sat on the toilet your knees touched the sink. Talk about uncomfortable! The shower was small as well. I would not recommend this hotel due to the size of the bathroom.
