Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Good Anonymous, 2006-10-14 Well, I appreciated that you had to have a parking pass and there was a security guard outside patrolling. My room was decent but there wasn't shampoo or conditioner provided in the bathroom. Score 3 out of 5 OK for the $ Anonymous, 2006-05-16 Hey, what do you expect for the $? I was just looking for a bed and a shower - it was OK. Score 1 out of 5 Review rayenese, 2006-04-09 The only good thing is, the motel is close to washingotn DC.Score 1 out of 5 disgusting malisa, Columbus, MS, 2006-03-21 about 15 minutes from downtown DCThe only comforting thing about this hotel was the fact that there was a guard on duty that was doing a wonderful job with security. The air conditioner did not work, there were what looked like blood stains on the bathroom floor and walls.I was so disgusted. The thermostat was disassembled and would only put out heat. The front desk staff with the exception of the old lady that checked us out were rude and uncaring. They weren't even concerned that my vehicle had the right card in it so I wouldn't get towed over night. You could see through the huge crack between the door jam and the door and overall If you came to this hotel, I would run far and fast away from it. Score 4 out of 5 good value David, Allentown, PA, 2006-02-24 A carvel restaurant across the parking lot and and an A&W as well Mc D's and Wendy's on corner A pizza hut opposite themThe motel was very accessible to I 95 and had good options for eating. I was looking for cheap accomodations and this was it. It was also accessible to a few shopping malls. Score 1 out of 5 Very poor service Anonymous, Phoenix, AZ, 2005-11-04 There is some shopping and fast food nearby. It is a dangerous neighborhood as atested by the armed security guard. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Of course then no one would stay there.I arrived at the motel 6 at approximately 1:00 a.m. to find out that the computer system was down and I could not check in at the motel. I was told by an armed security guard that I could not wait in the motel parking lot. I am not sure why? I am not sure where I was supposed to go as there is nothing open in the area, except drive through fast food, and there was nowhere else I could park. She was very curt. I call motel 6 800 number and that was some help. I was told the computer was up. When I went to check in I was told that my credit card had not yet been charged. This made no sense. I explained that and the woman behind the glass and in charge of the motel on that graveyardshift was not at alll interested in being any help. She was too busy just waving me off because I would not let her charge my credit card without proving it had not already been charged. Again not interest in helping me. I had an 87 year old diabetic aunt traveling with me and I could no longer put up with this situation. I left and spent more money to stay next door at a Comfort Inn. I see no reason to ever try to stay at any motel 6 in the future. I have been telling this story to every one who asks me about my trip. Score 2 out of 5 Cheap/Getto Nicholas, Durham/Raleigh, NC, 2005-06-28 Cheap room and they have a security which requires ID for everone. No open parting for friends 1 Car only. Score 2 out of 5 The check-in process is frustrating. Anonymous, 2005-05-30 Based on the reservation confirmation, we should have been able to check in at 12:00 noon. However, when we arrived at around 2:30pm, the room was still not ready. The check-in staff was very inefficient and even didn't say sorry to us. We had to go for sightseeing directly with all of our luggage. Score 5 out of 5 pleasant atmosphere Anonymous, 2005-05-27 All the staff members were very polite and helpful. They gave good explanations and excellent recommendations for dining, shopping etc. |
