Score 4 out of 5 Convient Anonymous, 2006-04-06 Hotel is located right next to the I495 capital beltway. Convient to travel to DC and Maryland. The hotel allowed a late check in which was very convient. The hotel staff were helpful. Score 2 out of 5 poorly kept and far from tourist sites Delia, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2006-03-22 The closest metro is Branch Avenue on the Greenline and is about a 10 minute walk. The Days Inn Camp Springs was not an enjoyable experience. Upon arrival, the room had an odd stentch to it that was only masked after several deoderizers were applied. Each day after housekeeping passed through, our air conditioner was turned off leaving us to return to what I can only describe as a sauna. The towels were rough and uncomfortable. The staff did all they could to make my stay enjoyable but the hotel needs serious remodeling. It is also very far from tourist attractions [about a 30 minute metro ride] . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else. Score 2 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Bloomington-Normal, IL, 2006-03-08 The indoor pool was an outdoor and closed. The fitness center couldn't use never did see where that was. No sauna found. The carpet in my room looked like someone had poured blood on it. The bedspreads were torn. The view was terrible. There wasn't a restaurant onsite. They had closed that down also. I was very disappointed in my room. The staff on the other hand was very friendly and helpful. Score 4 out of 5 Great location Gayle, Denver, CO, 2005-12-10 Washington DC has everything nearby, attractions, restaurants, metro etc. I found this hotel to be very appropriate for my needs. The Days Inn - Camp Springs was in a great location for my specific business. The amenities were just enough for me. I have stayed at many Days Inn hotels and they are pretty much all very similar. They meet my needs and have what I need. Camp Springs was in this category. It was clean throughout and homey. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. I am sure I will have many opportunities to stay at a Day's Inn again. |
