Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 Disgusting hotel Stephen, Boston, MA, 2006-05-13 This place needs a serious cleaning up. Obviously a change of management is in order. The Aberdeen Travelodge was absolutely filthy. The lobby needs a complete makeover or a good cleaning at the least. The hallway to our room was as dirty as I have ever seen. The stairs from the parking area was full of trash and obviously had not been cleaned for a very long time. The door was propped open allowing anyone to come into the hotel. I closed it but in the morning it was propped open again. Absolutely no security. Our room smelled like animals and it turned out that many people there had pets. There should be rooms dedicated to people with pets. We were woken during the night by a big dog barking across the hall. Whoever cleaned our bathroom didn't spend more than 2 minutes in there. It was gross and there was accumulated dirt and dust in every corner. Our balcony had trash on it, along with the pool area. It was so gross outside, my wife couldn't look out the window. The room was so dirty that neither of us could sleep and we got up early and left. If it wasn't 10:p.m. and the neighboring hotels weren't full then we would have left, even though we would have lost our prepaid fee. I asked at the desk if there was any coffee and the girl said she would make some. We waited for it to brew but then it was so bad that I poured it out and left. One other couple was there and they agreed that the place was disgusting but they had a dog and it was the ony place that they could find which allowed dogs. This hotel had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Score 4 out of 5 Average to below average Robert, 2006-05-12 Specials are a good valueNoisy at night - no policing of late night ruddies. Had to ask for housekeeping for second night - room not made up. Good resturant and bar. Good beds and shower |
