Lighting

The hotel is a block from the main shopping area but the stores do not stay open late. We were lucky to find one or two stores open after 6:00 P.M.

The Hyannis Travel Inn was very close to the shopping district and walking distance to the harbor. We were even allowed to leave our car in the parking lot for the day while we visited Nantucket. The Continental breakfast was more than ample and the swimming pool area very nice. We did have a guest on the floor above us that moved around very loudly all night. What needs to be addressed is the lighting. The lights in the room were not user friendly for reading or doing any kind of hand work, things people like to do when not going out for the evening. The lights were not bright enough to even dress by. The curtains could not be left open because of the closeness to another establishment.

if you want to go to island by ferry, look for a parking before, there are free parking close to dock.

This is a great place, the staff are professional, very friendly. the community is very nice and friendly. the environment is beacutiful and peaceful.
