There is shopping and dinning close

We searched for a hotel with a pool and hot tub when desiding on a hotel. We were DISCUSSED by the pool....and after seeing the pool we wondered how the up keep of the hot tub was...we didn't even use them like we had planned.

I chose this hotel because they accepted pets. We were in the area for a figure skating competition in Pawtucket, RI. This was a bit further away but it was an excellent choice. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast that was provided. They began serving at 6:30 AM which was great for us. Good variety of food and well done. The pool was nice for the kids. It was nice having a fridge and microwave. Our room had a seperate bedroom and a sofa bed. I would recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant hotel in a central location

This hotel is just off a major highway and makes it convenient to attractions north and south. Due to the nice kitchen available, it's a good idea to bring your own snacks & drinks. The hotel doesn't have a store within the building or within walking distance. It's a good hotel for a couples' getaway.

The Franklin Hawthorne Suites was an extremely clean, comfortable hotel. The room was comfortable for two with a spacious separate seating/kitchen area. There was a separate vanity area from the bathroom which was bright and roomy. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and the variety of tea/coffee/cocoa offered was a pleasant and appreciated surprise. This hotel was in a great location near the highway and yet the setback allowed for privacy and relaxation. Althugh this hotel had only breakfast available as a dining option, the breakfast was generous and there are plenty of offsite restaurants within a short drive. I would stay at this particular hotel again and I would also try this chain in other cities.

Hawthorn Suites worked out very well. I stayed for one night and attended a wedding at Lake Pearl Lucianos. A number of guests also stayed here. We were able to check in with great ease and were happy to find our room was a good size. We had a suite with queen sleeper/ living room. The kitchenette, mostly the fridge was great. We also liked having the living room fo entertaining/ meeting with friends before we went to the ceremony. I had called a few weeks before our arrival and arranged for the shuttle to take us to Lake Pearl (10-15 minute drive). The shuttle is free until 10pm. For our return it cost $75, split 11 ways, plus a tip for the driver. This was great as nobody had to drive. Service was very prompt. Ther is a breakfast served until 10 am. I didn't go as we had brunch plans, but thos who did seemed to enjoy it. Great option in the area, close to 495. Very quiet. I would certainly stay again. Advice: Opt for a suite. My room at the Hawthorne Suites in Franklin, MA was not very clean. The carpet was filthy, the sheets were not clean and the air conditioning wasn't easy to regulate. I was also very disappointed that the pool was out of order, and had been for months! The hot breakfast was decent.
