clean but lacking

The room was clean enough....however the hotel had a dining area but it was closed due to lack of business. The bar did serve a few choice meals but were disappointingly bland. I would not stay here again

my kids were amazed, they said the bathroom was right out of the movie Pyscho. Badly patched holes above the moulding around the floor. TV was at least 20 years old, but it did have cable. No hairdriers or coffeemakers in the rooms. Sheets were clean. Four locks on the door?? Scary.

Great, inexpensive place to stay for a trip to Salem, MA. The only problem I experienced with this motel was the presence of a couple of flies in the room and in the room in the lobby where the complimentary breakfast was served. The motel's restaurant, the Village Green, was a bit depressing, but there are plenty of other options nearby. Very friendly staff, except that a maid knocked on the door a few hours before we were due to check out at 11 am.
