Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 My review of Comfort Inn North Shore Rebecca The Comfort Inn was a very clean and comfortable hotel with a larger than expected room. It seems that they are in the process of doing some updates. Unfortunately, all of the soda/water bottle machines were non functioning unless you went to the basement floor. I also noticed that the elevator inspections had expired over 6 months earlier. That made me question the other safety aspects of the hotel. If that was not an issue, I would have to say that it was a great value. Very afforadable. I would stay there again on our next trip to Boston. Score 5 out of 5 close to boston and inexpensive amy close to Salem Ma. which has alot of entertainment and is a historical area. The Danvers Comfort Inn North Shore was clean, fairly close to Boston and a great value. The staff were friendly and helpful and my husband and I were really glad to have stayed their. The room was large and comfortable. Score 5 out of 5 great for collage hockey games bernard suppled good traval info Score 5 out of 5 Excellent value Daniel, Atlanta, GA It is conveniently located along US1 in Danvers (2 miles to town center) and only 11 miles from Logan airport. From a tourism standpoint it is central to Old Salem, Marblehead and other Old New England towns with home, inns and sites extant since the 1600's. In town Boston is a short drive, avoiding rush hours, down Rte 1.The Comfort Inn North Shore provides excellent value for a hotel in the immediate Boston area. The reception staff were all friendly and readily assisted with recommendations for dining out and directions. This attitude even extended to the cleaning staff who had welcome when met. Our room faced east, sunny or bright. The hotel is set back from the highway on a parallel road. Noise was minimal. Our room had a tv, refrigerator and microwave as well as coffee maker. The only slight problem was that only a two-plug outlet was available for those four accessories. We had two double beds and a round desk with two comfortable living room chairs and ample floor space so that there was no feeling of being crowded.Toilet with shower was clean. Breakfast was good & varied and included hot waffle making option. Great Italian restaurant across the road. Coffee available in lobby all day. Enjoy! Score 5 out of 5 Review Daniel, Tampa, FL, 2007-03-06 Nice Italian restaurantScore 5 out of 5 Good value hotel Anonymous, 2007-03-04 We stayed in this hotel for a weekend and got a room with 2 full size beds on the 4th floor. The room itself was very large and confortable. The floor in the bathroom especially in the corners could have been cleaned a little better. We started a bath on of those nights and the water wasn't exactly clear, more like a yellow tint. Breakfast was nice and had lots of options including a couple of self service waffle stations. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent experience Thomas, 2007-02-19 The restaurants nearby offered wide range of tastes and prices. No matter what mood of dining you were in, there was a restaurant nearby. The Comfort Inn provided a top notch experience from quick and efficient check in with friendly staff to the size and comfort of the room. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, we were always greeting with a warm smile from the moment we arrived. Although there was not a restaurant at the hotel, there were excellent options near by. The continental breakfast was excellent and quanties were filled before the last item was taken which is indicative to the hotel's attention to detail. We had a great experience, would stay there again without a second thought and reccommend the hotel to friends. Score 5 out of 5 great value Anonymous, 2007-02-10 During my stay,I ventured to 3 malls, all within a short drive from the hotel, each unique and offering a great variety of shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. They have a great complimentary breakfast, including making your own waffles. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The parking lot is well lit and they have security.Comfort Inn is centrally located. Within minutes you can enjoy several malls, and an endless list of restaurants. My daughter goes to Gordon College and I found this to be a perfect place to stay. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent night stay David, 2006-12-30 We were attending a funeral in the area so it was a very fast decision in selecting a hotel. It fit our needs very well. The desk clerk suggested a nearby restaurant and it was superb Italian food. We LOVED it! The room was ready upon arrival. It was a large room with a very comfortable bed. We went to bed early and it was VERY quiet. Breakfast time was THE BEST, we made our own waffles, and had anything else we wanted. It was better than at home! (fresh fruits, toast, cereals, pastries) Score 5 out of 5 Very family friendly John, 2006-12-29 The Comfort Inn North Shore was very comfortable, we had a king sized bed which was very comfortable and the room was a very decent sized room. The staff were very friendly and were quick to check us in when we got there. The first time we got there they had put us in a smaller room but were quick to fix their mistake. The location is good because it is close to the highway making it easy to find and also close to restaurants and shopping centers. |
