Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 Review Peter, Lisbon No review provided by user Score 2 out of 5 Cheap and very basic Tom, Newark, NJ, 2006-07-13 Not much around it that I could see -- a breakfast place across the parking lot was ok.The President's City Inn is an old-style travel court motel . It is functional -- bed, chair, desk with outlets on the wall, TV, small soap, shampoo, etc. but few other amenities. The plastic ice bucket looked old and chipped around the rim, windows which looked directly onto the parking lot blocked all light -- no sheers for a combinatin of light and some privacy. Still, an easy drive to the Convention Center and downtown Boston and about half the rate of anything else in the city. Score 1 out of 5 Not a Hotel, but Motel, and even still...a dump! Andrew, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-02-18 The room was disgusting. Water damaged ceilings, black footprints in the shower, no soap or shampoo, no phone, no cable, and no heater. The neighbors were up at all hours, drinking and getting high. As for the management of this dump, forget it. They could not care less about the place. When I tried to get my money back, because there was no way I was staying a second night, they declined. Score 4 out of 5 Good enough motel for cheap Diane, Sacramento, CA, 2005-12-30 This motel is unimpressive from the outside--needs paint, sprucing up. But it is very convenient to the Boston T or a quick drive into Boston for half the cost of a Boston hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were able to access the Internet for free, which was very helpful. There are no hotel facilites (other than the Web connection)or dining facilities. Score 4 out of 5 sheets were clean Janet, Charlotte, NC, 2005-09-25 The motel looks rough from the outside. The room was fairly clean. No hair dryer or frig. Night clerk was surly. The place was in walking distance of the metro. Score 3 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Toronto, ON, 2005-09-06 The T station is a short walk and it costs only $1.25 to get into Boston.Score 3 out of 5 My review of Presidents City Inn John, Palm Springs, CA, 2005-08-18 It served its' purpose for the time that I was there. Personnel were decent and helpful but I guess it just wasn't what I expected. The rooms were clean and maintained properly. I probably should have paid a little more money and gotten a hotel of recognizable name and location. |
