The 18th Century Prince Conti Hotel sits in the heart of the French Quarter and is just steps from Bourbon Street excitement. Located at 830 Conti Street between Bourbon and Dauphine, the hotel offers 74 charming guest rooms. Within the hotel is the Bombay Club Restaurant & Martini Bistro for fine dining and the best Martini's in town, and also Ms. D's Cafe for an authentic "New-Orleans" style breakfast. The Prince Conti is proud to be a Smoke-Free hotel; smoking is allowed in public areas only, not in guest rooms.
Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Hidden Amenities Fee's EDUARDO, Baltimore, MD In direction, any time, any method, the BIG EASY fits it title. Walking to areas is the fastest and less stressful method to get around the many one way streets. The Check in which was the first contact with the Hotel was rather cold and unwelcoming. The front clerk was extremly vauge in reference to fees and only mentioned that there was fees for the use of the hotel phone for any local or long distance calls. Not a big deal, we brought our cell phones. However, the HIDDEN FEE not told was the parking fee. Approximately $100 that was brought to our attention the entire time until check out. The Vallet persons were very humble and professional in mannerisms and appearance. The check in clerk(s) could use lessons in these areas. The rooms were cute but very dated in wall paper designs and furniture. I will visit the Big Easy in the near future but will ask for ALL AMENITIES to be charged and IN WRITTING. We arrived at the hotel late at night, but it was easy to go out and enjoied night life in the French Quarter. The room and the bed were a little small for 2 people, but the room was clean and confortable. We would definitely stay there again. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location Anonymous, 2007-03-09 Bourbon St is a half-block away! This hotel offers a great location for the price. If you want the Bourbon Street experience, it is a great place to stay. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location Anonymous, 2007-03-09 This hotel is located one block off Bourbon Street. Easy walking to the best restaurants and attractions in the Quarter. The coffee shop had good food at a reasonable price. The restaurant was promoted as a fine ding establishment. We went in and sat at the bar and they were playing rap music. We had dinner elsewhere. This is a well-kept small hotel in a great location. The room was not large but had every amenity you would want. Spotless. It was clean and comfy. The walls are a bit thin, but it was built in like the 18th Century. My only complaint was parking. If you drive your car and intend to park at the hotel parking garage, be prepared for a hidden fee. It costs $22/day plus tax to park your car. That one caught me completely by surprise. |
