Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Courteous staff Anonymous, 2007-02-11 Two great restaurants, K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen and NOLA are right around the corner. The hotel had a great location. And despite being located in the French Quarter, was rather quiet. The room was nicely appointed with distinctive furniture but rather small. The best part of the hotel was the staff; very attentive, courteous and always providing great assistance. The business office is limited, two computers but the wireless connection in the hotel room made Internet connections easy. It was a very nice experience. Score 5 out of 5 luxury at its best Laura, Chicago, IL, 2006-09-18 If you are shopping, walk around. All the small stores are trying to stay afloat and are offering great service and prices. There are no lines to any of the top tourist spots. Pat O'Briens was not serving food. Call ahead. The Omni Royal (not the Omni) was a very lavish hotel. From the friendly staff to the pool on the top of the hotel overlooking the French quarter. We did not plan on spending any time on the roof swimming, but it was too beautiful to not. There is even a bar with the best prices for drinks, and a bartender that makes you very comfortable. The entrance is located across the street from the Louisiana Supreme Court and one block from the police station, so safety is at its best. It is located around the corner from some of the finest hotels. It is only two blocks from Bourbon Street. The hotel room was quite. From the hotels decor to its towels, everything was plush. This is a hotel to recommend to friends. When we go back, we are definitely staying at the Omni Royal. Also, if you are planning on going, you should go now. You can get into every restaurant and establishment. And the people are going out of there way to please you. Score 5 out of 5 Great place for Mardi Gras Anonymous, Sacramento, CA, 2006-03-03 Since Bourbon Stree is just a block from the hotel, it's an ideal location for those who like to party. Also, there is great shopping on Royale Street which is adjacent to the hotel. The Omni Royal Orleans is a beautiful hotel which is kept well. The room was spacious and serviced each day by the housekeeping staff. We particularly enjoyed the pool and bar area on the top floor. The location is great for Mardi Gras as the hotel is just a block from Bourbon St. in the heart of the French Quarter. Would recommend! Score 5 out of 5 Just plain awesome! Matthew, Atlanta, GA, 2005-05-08 Our stay at the Omni in New Orleans was just great. The staff was really friendly and the hotel itself was beautiful. We loved just being able to walk just outside of the hotel to be in the middle of the French Quarter. I cannot wait to go back. |
