I have been to other extended stay hotels for comparable, non-discounted price (equal to the regular price of this hotel) and encountered better amenities. Score 2 out of 5 Good location Anonymous Good location is the only postive thing that I can say about this hotel. I feel that I should have gotten alot more for my money. The bathtub drain was broken, so when I took my shower I was standing in a puddle of water. Horrible! I also had no washcloths. There was a kitchenette in the room with a coffee pot, but no coffee. Just there for looks I guess! There was also lights in the room that didn't work. And the bed was not comfortable! Once again the location was the only good thing about this hotel. We went to a concert at the River Center and it only took ten minutes to get there. So, everybody has their own opinion, but I think I should've gotten a place with better quality for the price! It is located between I-10 and I-12 making it very convenient to get anywhere in the city of Baton Rouge. There are numerous restaurants and shopping centers very nearby. The room was clean and quiet and there is free wifi available as well. Also, there were other patrons of the hotel fighting, yelling and kicking at their door for three hours during the night. No one at the hotel answered the phone when we tried to call and complain. Good points: Friendly staff, well set-up room, adequate kitchen to cook for one or two people, good location. Things that could be better: peeling paint on the windows, thin walls, (I heard a neighbor snoring!) and my non-smoking room smelled of smoke, probably from the hall. Overall a good experiene. I would go back. |
