Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Good value Anonymous, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2006-08-20 The downtown area and several malls are within a15 min. drive. The room we were first given was occupied. When we opened the door, we were confronted with unmade beds, trash on the floor, etc. We returned to check-in and were assigned another room. It was very clean and fresh but had a door to an adjoining room through which we could hear rather noisy guests until fairly late. There was no other room available. The hotel location was great, right off I75 and there manyrestaurants nearbu, including a Cracker Barrel across the road. Score 5 out of 5 Good Value - Get to breakfast early! Benjamin, Lexington, KY, 2006-07-09 This is my second trip to Lexington. Also, the second hotel I have stayed at. For the rates, it is comparable to several other hotels in the neighborhood, but I felt the quality of the rooms was much higher here! The location is not the best and parking is limited, but it is near I75, right off of US60! The neighborhood features good restaurants such as Cracker Barrel and Waffle House, ther is even an Arbys and McDonalds as well. 2 gas stations are on the corner, but the only eyesore to this area is a Hustler store across the street. I had a small issue when I grabed my non-wireless laptop for the trip. The front desk loaned me a wireless card and was able to connect with no issues. The best feature of the hotel is the deluxe continental breakfast! The other hotel I stayed at offered a deluxe breakfast, but their waffles were the toaster kind. This hotel offers a wide variety of baked goods as well as a waffle maker for your breakfast needs! Get there early on the weekends, they run out of food fast! Score 4 out of 5 Best Western Anonymous, Canton/Akron, OH, 2006-07-04 There are many bourbon distilaries nearby, but buffalo trace and woodford reserve were the best. The Lexington Best western was very old and outdated. The pool and hot tub were ok, but my room looked like it hasn't changed since the 70's. It was close to the highway, so leaving was no problem. Score 5 out of 5 A surprising value Jeremy, 2006-07-04 The Man-O-War plaza has nearly every shop or restaurant you could need. It is one exit south on 75 (a 5 minute drive from this Best Western). This Best Western was a surprising value. A great location for visiting the greater Lexington area. Right off the highway and close to most of everything. The spa and pool were a nice surprise. Probably the best pool in Lexington. |
