Cracker Barrel is right next door...very convenient for breakfast. Other dining is within a 2 mile drive

The La Quinta (Richmond,KY) provided me with everything I needed for a 2-night weekend stay: Large room with sofa-bed and refrigerator (a huge plus!) & wireless high speed internet. Nothing fancy (small TV), but comfortable.

Berea is a nice place to visit. Beautiful galleries and shops. The Artisan Center is especially nice.

We only needed a place for the night so this was ok. The room, although clean was a bit rough. There were numerous patched holes in the wall that were quite noticeable. The room was clean enough as were the halls, etc.. Signage could have been better in the hotel. Where was the elevator? Was there an elevator? Who knows? I don't speak Spanish so I was out of luck. The girl at the front desk was pleasant but we had communication problems. That's ok, we just drank a bunch of beer and went to bed.

We arrived at the hotel at approximately 4:00 P.M. and were told our room was not ready. We returned at approximately 5:30 and were given a room in the room away from the lobby upstairs in a hotel that was not fully booked.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to I-75. We were on our way to North Carolina from Indiana, and Richmond is nearly halfway. Because the hotel was near the Interstate, it was easy to find and saved time.

LaQuinta Inn Richmond, KY, was a nice place to stay with three exceptions. The two rooms we booked ended up being on two separate floors. We had an elderly lady with us who could not do stairs. Since there was no elevator in the hotel, she had to stay on the ground floor. Unfortunately, there was only one room left on the ground floor, so our other room had to be on the second floor. This caused much up-and-down stairs for me, personally, to check on our elderly guest periodically. Another downside was the floor in one stairwell. It appeared that someone had dragged a leaking garbage bag or something down the stairs and the floor was very sticky. Finally, our room on the second floor was too warm, I think because the air conditioning unit blew into the drapes instead of into the room. Other than these minor inconveniences, the hotel was more than adequate for our stay. It was close to I-75 so that we had no trouble finding it. It had hair dryers, iron & ironing boards, and mini refrigerators in the rooms, and a very nice continental breakfast in the morning.

Cracker Barrell right next door.

The price was right on this hotel. It was convenient to get to from the highway and very close to gas, eating (Cracker Barrell), and ice cream (Dairy Queen). We enjoyed our stay and made reservations for the return trip to the same hotel!

Family friendly and close to interstate and Cracker Barrel. No Elevator.

Cracker Barrel

The room and bathroom were a good size especially for the price of the motel Everything was clean and the linens were fresh. The motel was easy to find, in a safe neighborhoodand and next door to Cracker Barrel. We stayed on the second floor and there wasn't an elevator. Fine for us, but may have been a drawback for Senior Citizens. Overall good experience and will stay again if in the area.

This La Quinta was very clean and well maintained. This is my 2nd stay, and I believe it is a great value. Rooms are large and comfortable. Good location for travelers on I-75.

The first room they gave me had a very stuffy odor like an animal has recently been there, but they immediately gave me a new room. The new room was just fine...
