Both recreational lake areas north and west of town are nice places to picnic and relax.Frankly, I was a bit reluctant to stay at a moderately priced hotel in both a college and military town because, well - I know how college kids and young soldiers are! The Manhattan Super 8 was not at all like I expected. The room was large, clean and quiet. The complimentary continental berakfast was good as well.
