Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Met basic needs Loretta, Baltimore, MD, 2006-03-15 Very near University of Notre Dame and St. Mary's College. The Knight's Inn was a place to sleep, comfortable and clean but not a place you'd write a raving review about. The staff was very nice, there was coffee and cereal or buns in the lobby for early risers, good shower pressure and cable TV - pretty good value for the price. Score 4 out of 5 Winter getaway for South Bend Edward, 2005-12-04 Great Victorian Houses on Washington Street in South Bend Visit the Studebaker National Museum Visit the College Hall of Fame Museum both museums in South BendThis motel was very affordable for the setting. At least when not on a Notre Dame football weekend when the price is five times or more what I paid for. Ask for a room in one of the units away from the main highway due to the street noise. Beware of loud groups of college sports teams visiting on weekends since they will be up all hours of the night after sampling the night spots of this very college town. The rooms will meet your sleeping need but make sure you leave the heat on when you leave for periods of time since it does take awhile for the room to get warm. Score 2 out of 5 My review of South Bend Knights Inn Anonymous, 2005-07-03 The South Bend Knights Inn was not at all what we expected. We did not expect a palace, but we did expect cleanliness. The outside and inside were not well kept. It was very rundown. The lobby smelled of smoke and body odor. We were so disgusted, that we did not even take advantage of the free continental breakfast. The only plus was that the beds were fairly comfortable. |
