Indianapolis Zoo
This $64-million, 64-acre facility celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2004 and features 2,000 animals roaming through simulated environments. Get up close with an armadillo or try your hand at feeding a giraffe. The zoo's immense Dolphin Pavilion was being renovated at press time and is scheduled to reopen in summer 2005; for an aquatic fix, check out the new seahorse exhibit. Located 30 miles northeast of downtown, this restored 19th-century village faithfully reproduces pioneer life between 1820 and 1840 with the help of 36 carefully restored buildings, crafts demonstrations, and reenactments of events on the frontier. In summer, you can take a picnic here and listen to a concert under the stars as part of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's "Symphony on the Prairie" series.

Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art
This impressive $14-million building houses one of the country's most notable collections of Native American and Western art. The "Art of the American West" collection includes works by Frederic Remington and Georgia O'Keeffe. there were some restaurants close by and we liked that.

my wife and i stayed for one night and overall it was good place to stay for us. there were some restaurants close by which we like. the only thing that could be improved is the bathroom shower area it is very small. other than that we were satisfied with our visit.

Beef and Boards is next door

I was very pleased that this was right next to Beef and Boards. We actually walked to and from the show. It was a great price and the continental breakfast the next morning was better than most I have had.

We drove daily to Purdue University - were able to enjoy football game and college events. Enjoyed very mcuh.

Easy accessibility to highway and visiting Purdue and downtown. Included breakfast was helpful and made morning easy.

Excellent Choice

Ask for room overlooking pool.

The Super 8 in NW Indianapolis was a great place to stay. The room was clean and the cleaning service did a good job. The room was laid out well with two double beds and the bath was separate from the vanity. Overall I was very comfortable at this motel.

All one could want in a hotel

Steakhouse practically next door that you can easily walk to!

The Super8 had a great location, right off the major highway that encircles all of Indianapolis, that made this stay extremely convienient for us. It was well kept and beautiful, with a cheery atmosphere, lovely balconies and a beautiful pool. The airconditioner also worked extremely well and created a nice window seat for me; the ability to make your own hot waffles for breakfast, as well as the other selections for breakfast, was above-average for what other hotels have offered us;and the price was reasonable and well worth it! My only complaints: the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better, and the desk gave us the wrong directions from the airport. Aside from this, wonderful. I'd definitely stay here again!
