During your Indianapolis vacation, don't miss these great establishments and attractions:
Children's Museum of Indianapolis
This is one of the largest children's museums in the world, with interactive exhibits covering everything from archaeology to world cultures to biotechnology, plus extensive toy and dollhouse displays, a working antique carousel ($1 per ride), and a planetarium. At press time, the museum was about to open Dinosphere, a $25-million multisensory exhibit that's a unique attempt to combine serious science (a working laboratory and the largest collections of juvenile fossils in the world) with kid-friendly interactive exhibits (dressing up in a dinosaur costume to sit on a nest of simulated eggs). If you have kids, this is the place to take them.
Conner Prairie Pioneer Settlement
Located 30 miles northeast of downtown, this restored 19th-century village faithfully reproduces pioneer life between 1820 and 1840 with the help of 36 carefully restored buildings, crafts demonstrations, and reenactments of events on the frontier. In summer, you can take a picnic here and listen to a concert under the stars as part of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's "Symphony on the Prairie" series.

Built in 1909, this is one of the most celebrated auto raceways in the world. Each May, more than 400,000 spectators throng to the 2.5-mile oval course to watch the Indianapolis 500, the largest single-day sporting event in the world, boasting the largest purse in motor racing. The Speedway also hosts the United States Grand Prix in June and the NASCAR Brickyard 400 in August. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum (open daily 9am-5pm; $3 adults, $1 children 6-15) is within the track's oval. The Children's Museum was on the main street down from the hotel!! GREAT!!
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! I would recommend it and also use this facility again for a stay! I wished the room was a little larger, but it was overall nice!

Clay Terrace - outdoor shopping town is about 10 minutes from Signature Inn - go North on Meridian towards 146th street. Clay Terrace is on your left - tons of shops like White House Black Market
I booked this reservation on behalf of business clients visiting from Taiwan. They were very comfortable staying at Signature Inn and the staff made every effort to ensure they were well taken care of. Will definitely have our guests stay at Signature Inn again.
Terrible Service

The air conditioner didn't work and maintenance took 3 hours to come and refused to fix it. When I called back to find out what the deal was, the desk employee said 'What do you want me to do about it?' - VERY BAD FORM. After speaking to the Manager, they finally came and fixed it well after midnight. The alarm clock was broken, and they never brought me another one. To top it off, the thing went off at 3:45AM!!! They eventually comped the room, but what a fiasco. Nice breakfast, though...
