The room was small. They were replacing badly worn carpets in other rooms and it was loud, also our bathroom got flooded when the upstairs bathtub overflowed and while they solved the plumbing issue they did not immediately clean up the bathroom for us. The hotel's major amenity was free parking in downtown Chicago, so if I were in Chicago with a car I might stay there again, but otherwise I think I'd spend a few more bucks a night to stay a bit closer to Michigan Avenue. The free parking was a definite plus. The room was nice and roomy and I particularly liked that the bathroom and shower was separate from the sink which made it easier for us to get ready in the morning. The hotel checkin was delayed a bit but they readily compensated us with free breakfast coupons. We would definitely stay there again. Navy pier is so close (4 dollars by CAB)The location was more important than anything else for me. This was my first visit to chicago and the location was just perfect. Bus stations as well as the train station was pretty close. All the major tourist attractions were within a 2 mile radius making it easy for travel. The room was comfortable the TV had all the good channels. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel making it a great place to stay. Double Decker Bus tour stops and starts adjacent to Hotel. A must to ride as you can get off and be picked up at any of the 14 popular stops. 3. Small grocery/liquor store is located 3 blocks east from hotel. 5. 3.5 blocks from GraThe room was more spacious than other hotels. Rooms were clean and staff was more than curtious. Pool area & sun deck was spacious and well maitained. Location to downtown was excellent with new McDonald's and Rainforest Cafe restaurants adjacent to hotel. Good value for the money. It has on site parking included which is a plus in Chicago. Clean room with nice pool and work out room. When we are coming in town for a few days, we stay here! Check it out.
