Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Family friendly or great for business, too Susan, Sheldon Point, AK, 2006-11-24 There is a shopping mall close to the hotel. You either need to take a shuttle bus (if you don't have a car) or drive. It may be only a few miles away. It is called, "Stratford Mall" It has alot of nice shops and also some nice department stores. The Indian Lakes Resort was great! The room was done up in a "70"'s deocor. My husband loved the beams on the ceiling. The bathroom was awesome. You could tell it had been re-done. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed our stay very much. I am hoping we can come back in December to celebrate Christmas with our families. We had a great time! We started coming to Indian Lakes 2 years ago and have been pleasantly surprized! The rooms are extra large, with many facing the beautiful Atrium...a big plus for families with smaller children. We often put the little ones to bed, then go sit in the atrium and play cards or talk until the wee hours of the morning...couldn't do that at many of the other hotels we'd stayed at. The pool is HUGE and well-used by our group...the rooms are larger than a standard hotel room and the atrium is FANTASTIC for large groups to and around in. Overall we'd rate the hotel very highly. The only negatives I have regarding the hotel are that (1) both of the restaurants are high priced...does not lend itself to a family with small children, and (2) maid service was VERY late in the day both years we've stayed there...like 4 PM in the afternoon! As a result, our rooms were dirty most of the day unless we made our own beds, took care of our own wet towels, etc.... Still, all in all, I would HIGHLY reccomend this hotel to others. |
