Small and Comfortable

There are wineries in the area -- The motel is fairly close to town and next to the freeway -- so getting places is easy by car. I would not walk in that area.
The Super 8 in Nampa, Idaho was perfect for my purposes. I had a small single room with one bed and a desk. The bathroom was also small, but very adequate for one person. I thought, from reading the information, that there would be a restaurant closer -- but it was across the busy street and one almost needed to drive to get to it. The continental breakfast was okay and coffee was available at all hours in the office. There were no coffee pots in the room. I was in an end room near the freeway ramp -- but the sound did not bother me. I was also on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. Luckily it was a short flight and I am glad that I was not on the 3rd floor. For the price and convienience of location -- it was a good choice. Next time, I may look at a different motel (Shilo) or stay with friends in that area.
