My review of Mr Sandman Inn and Suites

The restaurant next door has a wonderful Sunday breakfast buffet. My husband was able to take a short walk to a gas station and buy coffee for 25 cents. Newspapers were available next door to the hotel.

We were put in a section separate from the main building. We were near the pool and hot tub but did not get a chance to use it. We stayed Fri., Sat., and Sunday night. The room was cleaned satisfactorily on Fri. & Sat. Sunday are room did not get cleaned nor did the area outside our room...empty cigarette package laying on the floor, garbage was overflowing. Hotel clerk did give us a $20.00 credit when we mentioned are room not being cleaned. Free breakfast was being served from 6 - 10 a.m. Saturday we got there at 9:25 a.m. but they were out of gravy and biscuits, also coffee. Sunday we went to breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and they were out of almost everything hot. (We went to a restaurant for breakfast). Room was not bad except for the lighting..... my wife had a difficult time seeing to put her make-up on. Monday morning at 5 a.m. the garbage truck arrived to pick up trash from the restaurant next door and the motel so it kept us awake for a while. The main part of the hotel looked clean and the clerks were very nice.

write off freeway which was convenient

The Sandman was okay but very small, and no elevator. No shampoo was provided or soap for showering. The Breakfast was okay with a variety of items.

Good Location

The hotel was only 6 miles from Boise if you needed some major shopping. Smaller town ammenities were close by, And a Domino's there to deliver any pizza you may want.

The Sandman motel in Meridian Idaho is in a good location next to the freeway with JB's nextdoor as well as convienent gas stations. The rooms were a bit small and beds a bit hard. They have a nice little outdoor pool and an indoor hot tub. I think we wouldn't mind staying here again. The continental breakfast was nice with you-bake waffles, bisquits and gravy, fruit, juices, coffee, pastries, yogurt and cereals.

Really comfy bed

For me, one of the most important things about a hotel is the bed. I had a great night sleep at the Sandman Inn. The bed was really comfortable. The sheets were soft and I slept great!
