Sun Valley is where the original resort was built in 1936. Since then, A Robert Trent Jones golf course, Nrdic Center, ice rink, and other facilities have been added. It is approximately 1 mile from downtown Ketchum and 2 miles from the River Run lifts. Sun Valley Village has several restaurants, a movie theater, a deli/ general store and other shopping.
