Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Priced right if you are thrifty Anonymous, 2006-07-21 The check in staff was very quick and knowlegdeable. The breakfast was nice. Room could have used some attention in terms of remodeling: mirror needed replaced on vanity and bed spreads were an older style. Carpet was showing wear. Bathroom was clean. Had a convenient location to the mall. Score 4 out of 5 good hotel Anonymous, 2006-05-22 Best Western Stoval was a nice Hotel for the price and convenient to the casinos - 5 minutes away. Room was nice but a few stains on floor. Liked the continental breakfast. Staff very friendly. Score 5 out of 5 Great place to stay. stacey, Omaha, NE, 2006-03-04 They have every thing u needThis was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. We were right across the street from the shoppimg mall that we had planned to visit the next day. I loved the fact that there was wireless internet in the rooms. The breakfast was great as well. We will be back! Score 5 out of 5 great people! Anonymous, 2006-02-17 The folks at the Western Inn went above & beyond in many ways! Although I arrived at almost 11pm after having driven many hours in cold/blizzard conditions, I was very warmly greeted, peperwork was ready & waiting, check-in was immediate & painless. I was offered warm choc.chip cookies while we chatted about quickest route to airport & advised about nearby restaurant/dining, gas station hours, etc. Although coffee/breakfast wasn't normally available until 5:30a.m., when I came down to check out about 3:30a.m., the night shift desk clerk had coffee ready & was putting out donuts! The evening shift had remembered I'd be leaving early & gone the extra step to mention that to night shift! They even went above & beyond with a follow-up wake up call after 1st wasn't answered--no automated voice, real people! Although I didn't spend much time there, the staff, the extra care, the genuine midwestern concern for the patrons was wonderful. The room itself was modest w/no coffee maker, lotions, shampoos, etc. it was comfortable & clean. The a-c/heater was quite loud (fan rattled erratically) but worked fine. Overall good value for the $$. I'm sure other ammenities I didn't have time to enjoy were also nice! Great job...I'd stay again. Breakfast was very good. Also very nice was that Coffee and OJ was always on. And apples were always available if you like apples. Looked very clean to me. Ice machine worked great! The room seemed a little old. No wireless. Not a bad place. Overall I really liked it except for the price. Score 5 out of 5 extremely accommodating Cyrelda, 2005-07-03 The staff is very helpful and make every effort to make guests comfortable and provide any necessity. An excellent continental breakfast is provided in a clean and inviting dining room. Score 4 out of 5 Convenient locale Maria, 2005-05-21 It was pretty good/close to the Omaha Quest Convention Center and the event I was attending and affordably priced. The staff was very professional and gracious by any standard. The two things I took issue with were the air conditioning and the condition of the carpeting in my room. When I arrived, the A/C in my room was on the blink and methods to fix it were much like trying to make a TV antenna out of a coat hanger, stick it in the TV & start trying to arrange the wire until you get a slightly clearer picture, but still bad reception. And it had a constant drip onto the carpet through the night. It was actually colder in the hallway, right outside my room door. The other thing was the light carpet was in desparate need of cleaning. The stains in it were so pronounced, I didn't believe I could go barefoot & escape getting some kind of foot fungus. So, I wore thongs on my feet the whole time or threw towels down on the floor where I had to walk. Badly soiled carpets make me start wondering about never laundered bedspreads, & you don't want guests to start down that path. In some defense of the staff, they offered to put me in another room, but I declined because of the room's location in the Inn was even less desireable because of that last minute switch. So the price, the location's convenience, the complimentary breakfast, & the parking convenience, I would recommend to fellow travelers. But first, I would strongly advise the Inn's Management to get on top of those specific areas, because it is exactly those areas THAT ARE DEFINITE DEAL BREAKERS!! |
