The table and chairs were a great addition to the room, which was especially helpful for me to study. The restroom was very small, but it served its purpose for the one evening I stayed there. There were quite a few fast food restaurants in the area, along with a Perkins. A Walmart and Target were a couple miles away for quick shopping. It was also close to downtown Cedar Rapids. The entrance to the room was right off of the parking lot, so it seemed a little more "unsafe" but I had no problems with security. Hotel amenities would have been appreciated. There was supposed to be coffee in the morning starting at 6 am but when I went to the lobby, it was not open. This would have been nice to get the day going because I had a long drive to go.
