Close to Airport

We needed a place to stay for one night before we went to our timeshare. This hotel was close to the airport and that was the reason we stayed there. It is not a place I would stay for an entire vaction.

Dining, while close was very limited in the imediate area, and not much choices.

The continential breakfast could have been expanded, to have a few more items. Some of the motels I have stayed at served a MUCH BETTER breakfast. They could include waffels, bagels and friut for not very much more trouble or expense. The rooms were clean and the first night was very uncomfortable for me, in that I am a tall person and only had a double bed, so my feet stuvk off the end about a foot. The staff did switch my room in the morning, to a better room,but the first night was bad. I went down to the front desk and ask if they could move me and was told NO, they were full, with out even checking, and while it may have been true, my impression was, they didn't want to bother. New people in the morning were very accomindating.

We arrived late at night and our condo wasn't going to be ready until the next day. The motel is close to the airport. For one night, it was perfect....but I wouldn't want to stay there for any length of time. It is inexpensive to stay there and as the saying goes...you get what you pay for! I would stay there again if the circumstances were the same.

Costco is just down the road.

I would definately return to the Maui Seaside--the staff was very friendly and helpfull, the room was large and comfortable. It was very nice to be centrally located where we could take off each day for new adventures. The hotel is older, but very clean and it had an air conditioner. The only thing I missed was a coffee pot in the room. I would have rather stayed in the room for morning coffee instead of going to the breakfast area. Overall, it was a good experience.

Well, there is a shopping centre nearby, with lots of dining option.

Clean but old. The front desk staffs are not friendly. Good location, but our room is too far from the lobby and they have restriction after 6pm that all guest must use the lobby entrance to get to their room...

Good for a short stay

The Queen K mall was within walking distance with a couple of good restuarants and nice shops.

The Maui Seaside Hotel hadeverything we needed for a one night stay...close to the airport, a pool, a nice view of the ocean, cleanliness and a continental breakfast. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable.
