Lahaina!!!! That's where you want to be to spend some money!!! Shopping for miles, beautiful scenery and very comfortable.

The Westin Maui was Amazing, upon entry you feel comfortable and loved!! Checking in was not only a breeze it was pleasant. Walking up to the room I noticed the HUGE pond in the middle of the Hotel, this pond had the most beautiful Koi fish, turtles, and FLAMINGO'S!!!!!!!!! Oh my GOD Flamingo's!!! It was awesome already!! Our room wasn't as big as we expected it to be, but it had an outrageous view. The pool area was very spacious, I loved that the beach was right across the way. We had a very loving experience at the Westin, and I would reccomend it to all ages.

The shopping mall next to the hotel was convenient

The Westin hotel was comfortable, however the hotel was going thru some renovations and the noise level in the morning was loud.

If you don't plan on touristing, don't bother renting a car.

The Westin provided me with a perfect vacation experience. Everything I needed was right on site or within a short walk. I cannot wait to return! The room was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. I was never bombarded with timeshare sales pitches. I was pleased that the Westin had a nice beach area. I would have been disappointed had I stayed at another resort to the south that had no beach to speak of.

Near-by you have top of the line shopping and beautiful beaches.

The Westin hotle in Maui will give you the best atmosphere with you and your loved one. As you step out of your car and into the hotel environment, every bit is breath taking. The Westin gives you everything you need. I didn't even leave the compound of the Westin.

the property was beautiful! Right on the beach. Great food and exceptional staff service. I was extremely pleased with the spa services, and I am a tough customer in that area. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone travelling to Maui.

Very Beautiful Resort

Our stay at The Westin Maui Resort was a very pleasant one. The room is a bit on the small side, but has everything you could need. It has a desk with the connection to the internet. There is an in room refridgerator, really small, but its there. There is an ironing board, iron, hair dryer. Location was perfect on one of the most beautiful beaches in maui, the ka'anapali beach! Walking distance to the Whalers Village Shopping and Restaurants. We loved it!

We were welcome with the tradional Lei upon arrival. The pools are very nice and attractively lay out. I would recommend the ocean view or partile ocean view only as it is the best view of the scenes. The golf view is a bit dry and bland. But good news if you must save dollars, you are only a few paces from the ocean. Whalers village is next door and offers altertanives for meals that are priced for the budget concience. Also this is where you can catch the bus to go to local Lahina for a $1 per person each way. The hotel food is excellent but is pricey (~ 25 a person). The concierce's are helpful, although they are tied to timeshares. They are not pushy about it, so use them to get the local info. A great Luau is located down the way at the Hyatt which is in easy walking distance. The local sailboats pick up at this hotel and offer a great sunset sail or sails to local snorkling.

Terrific place for families!

I went alone for an impromptu vacation. The only 2 glitches I had were that my room wasn't ready when I checked in around noon, but they did give me a pager to alert me when it would be ready. So I had lunch by the pool, and the staff was fairly understanding about just wanting to hang out. The only other glitch I encountered was with the dining staff at the restaurant nearest the pool- as a single woman, it seemed like it took forever to be waited on and get service. It didn't seem to be as long for those with families or couples in general, but I had to ask several times for items since my server had pretty much disappeared after the meal came! The room was very nice- I had upgraded to ocean-view and it was definitely worth it! The room was clean, and yes the bed was heavenly- so I'd probably return knowing what delay to encounter at mealtime! Overall, the hotel was beautiful and well-kept. If they just improved the service for those of us who dine alone, it would have been the perfect vacation. Next time I will be bringing my teenagers-they will definitely love the location!

Luxurious Hotel

Highly recommend the Hula Grill. Great food and really great atmosphere - make reservations ahead of time!

The rooms are standard size and offer all of the amenities as any Westin. However, the grounds make this hotel rise above all the rest. It is a tropical paradise! The pools are fantastic and offer so many choices for people with children and without. The pool staff is extremely attentive and friendly and make sure everyone is having a good time. We especially loved the location - we could walk to other first-class restaurants and shopping or just stay at the resort. Overall, we were very impressed and will return to the Westin for future trips.
