Walk the beach in front of the hotel. It is gorgeous in the morning.
We stayed at the Westin to get a good idea of how special this new hotel in Kaanapali was. Westin did it up right. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Decorations are very nice and the grounds are well maintained and lovely. The hotel/villas sit on one of the best beaches in Maui and strolling the beach in the morning makes you realize you have arrived in paradise. The room had plenty of room for storage, a small kitchen, washer/dryer and large bathroom. The eating area was small and part of the bedroom since the part we stayed in was more of a hotel room than a condo. Still very nice. You might consider buying a timeshare there where you can get a two bedroom condo with all the amenities.
