Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Nice beach location Anonymous, Sacramento, CA The Kaanapali Villas is on the other side of the Black Rock of Kannapali, which is famous for snorkling just off the beach. The Kaanapali Villas is located on a nice beach location. It is a short walking distance from the main Kaanapali Beach, but it is a lot less crowded. The studio condo is very spacious and clean. Even though the complex was full, there was a lot of privacy. Score 4 out of 5 Nice pool and beach area Anonymous, Indianapolis, IN, 2007-02-13 The cafe by the hotel was open all day (7am - 10 pm) and had dinner specials after 5pm. We tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all were excellent. Our favoriate part of the Kaanapali Villas was the grounds by the pool which had lawn chairs facing the beach/ocean. The grounds are maintained very well and we enjoyed spending time outside. There is also a nice cafe next to the pool which had excellent food which was reasonably priced. We had a slight bug problem one day which was promptly taken care of (sprayed) and we never saw any again. Overall, the inside was clean and seemed to be kept up. Score 5 out of 5 All round fun Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-11-18 There are plenty of shops and places to eat close by and if you like golf, you're in paradise. This was our first stay at this resort, and we would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. We had a studio romm with arden view and must admit we were pleasantly surprised. the room wasa tastefully decorated, wonderful, fully serviceable kitchen, plasma tv, plenty of pillows (which is always a problem in other hotels) and exceptionally clean and quiet!! Score 4 out of 5 family friendly mary, Sacramento, CA, 2006-08-04 it was a short drive to lahina for shopping and dining.we had an infant with us and the rails were broken on the lanai so we had to constantly watch her to make sure she didn't fall down from the second floor. that is really dangerous. also we ran out of toilet paper and they told us we needed to walk down and get it ourselves. they supplied the beach towels which was nice. it was a clean place. Score 5 out of 5 Tropical Paradise Terry, 2006-07-24 There are two golf courses very close to the hotel. The north course was closed for new construction but the south course was a very friendly and fun course to play. The unit in which we stayed was a very roomy one bedroom with a sleeper sofa. It was nice but the best thing about this resort is its location and grounds. It is right on the beach with immaculate grounds keeping. It is truly a tropical paradise resort. Score 2 out of 5 Old place and overcharged Hoang, San Francisco, CA, 2006-07-03 Whale VillageThis hotel has a good room space and on a great beach. The room is big but very old. Dirty carpet, old furnitures, ect. Everything is old and runs down. They need to remodel as their price is overcharged. They could not accomodate my request most of the time such as hotel room connection as we had two families going together. They could not find room with two beds for the big room. Blankets are not clean and their kitchens are very old. One of the rooms does not even have a dishwasher. If you want balcony to sit and enjoy at night, this room does not even have that. Overall, the only good thing from this hotel was the beach in front of the hotel with no rocks. There are not anything to dine in the hotel except for one restaurant which the staffs were not that friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not come back to this hotel. Score 5 out of 5 Highly Recommend Anonymous, 2006-06-03 The condos were centrally located on Maui. A short drive from the town of Lahiana as well as a reasonable distance from the airport. This was a studio, condo in Maui. The condo was much larger than the average hotel room, and had a full kitchen, daily maid service etc., as well as a nice little restaruan on the beach, that made for wonderful breakfasts. I would highly recommend this place for its location, amenities, and room comfort. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-05-22 Lahaina downtown is about 5-10 mins drive. Lots of restaurants and shops.Score 5 out of 5 a nice get away. greg, St Louis, MO, 2006-05-22 Park one or two blocks off frount st and save about half the cost of parkingAbout 25 minutes from the air port. It was a little hard to find but when I asked someone they got me right to the place. The staff was freindly and nice at any time of the day or night. It was two days before we found the pool house bar and gril. Great drinks and food. The staff is what made it so fun. Kobe Japans steak house was great for a dinner stop(very good****) If you look around you can find discount activaties and save alot of money. The Old Lahaina luau is a must and something for all ages. It is kind of like this if you can not have fun there then you just do no know how to have fun. Meeting people was as easy as saying Hi my nane is and go from there. Score 5 out of 5 nice room Anonymous, St Louis, MO, 2006-04-23 Propery is very close to Lahaina, but not so close as to be annoyed by the traffic, noise of that lively area. This resortquest property was very clean, with spacious rooms. My only complaint is that we were told upon check in that we would have to pay a $9 facility fee, but upon check-out that fee was removed. |
