Richard, Oakland, CA, 2006-12-09 There is nice Dining, shopping, Beach, Everything that you can think of to do.The Outrigger Maui Eldorado was Very Comfortable, very clean, great location, Hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful. The one bedroom was perfect for us. Our daghter is disabled so the roll in shower was perfect. Our stay in Maui was just wonderful and we very much plan on doing it again soon. Score 5 out of 5 Comfortable Studio Condo Kaanapali Jennifer, 2006-09-03 To the beachwalk path that goes along Kaanapali beach. Full of outdoor restaurants right at the edge of the beach with great Happy Hour offerings and the Whaler's Village upscale shops. The Maui El Dorado in Kaanapali, Maui was very comfortable with plenty of room for two people. We had a studio with partial ocean view. I liked the spacious laundry room and combo bedroom/kitchen/living area. Our lanai looked out over the pool and trees and parking was close. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and pans and a full size refrigerator which housed all of our food for the week. I also liked that it didn't radiate the overly busy atmosphere of the bigger hotels next door. Set right on the golf course, it felt like a quiet oasis in the midst of the bustle. Our studio was walking distance to one of the best beaches and early morning snorkeling spots at Black Rock. Perfect. Score 5 out of 5 Best Place to Stay in Maui Anonymous, 2006-07-25 Old Lahaina is just a short drive and full of exciting galleries and shopping areasThe Maui Outrigger Eldorado was the best condo we have ever stayed at. The grounds are wonderful and very well kept. The rooms were exquisite and very roomy with plenty of drawer and closet space. I especially like the openness with large windows and sliding glass doors. We spent quite a bit of time on the lanai, which was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed from dishes to full size dishwasher, stove and microwave. It was especially nice to have the washer and dryer in the closet area. We appreciated not having to pack home dirty laundry. We were not impressed with the cabana. It was too far to walk so we called for a golf cart driver (no charge for that) but the beach was not inviting at all. The pool was great though. All in all we would reccommend the Outrigger to anyone vacationing with or without children. Score 5 out of 5 Great Value Donna, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-12-07 Snorkelling at Black Rock was great and just around the point (a short swim) from the hotel's beach cabana. The beach facilities provided at the cabana were also very good. The Outrigger El Dorado was a great value. The room was large for a studio and the kitchen facilities were excellent. The grounds were well kept and the staff very friendly and helpful. I plan to go back in the not too distant future. Score 4 out of 5 Outdated Getaway Anonymous, Portland, OR, 2005-09-10 It is very close to downtown Lahaina, with tons of shopping and food. Although I recommend you have a car to get around in. There is a great place called CJ's within walking distance. The Maui Outrigger Eldorado, was very comfortable and spacious. We had a partial ocean view suite and it had a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and a separate bedroom from the TV area. There was also a nice balcony to watch the sunset or read over morning coffee. Our room was a bit outdated, but it was very comfortable. The ocean view was partial, yet we could see it. One of the best aspects of this hotel was the cabana on the beach with a full kitchen, lounge chairs, towels and a shower. Although the hotel itself is a trek from the beach there was a cart to take staff to and from the cabana. Score 1 out of 5 My review of Outrigger Maui Eldorado Anonymous, Chicago, IL, 2005-08-12 Very, very disappointed. The Air conditioning didn't work for our first 2 nights - and they checked us in without telling us! Do NOT stay here if you have a baby and will be using a stroller. The property does not have elevators and you have to climb lots and lots of stairs to get anywhere. Score 5 out of 5 The feeling of coming back home Haobin, New York, NY, 2005-05-13 Outrigger Maui Eldorado provides the service better than what we have expected. When we first entered the room, we were surprise to see how spacious the room was. The room also provides the kitchen and full choice of cookwares. We did enjoy the kitchen a lot, and it gave us the feeling of staying at home. Another attacting thing about this resort is that the whole facility just sits beside the Lahaina beach. There is only 3 minutes walk distance from our room to the beach. We will very likely to choose this resort in our future visit of Hawaii. |
