Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Unbeatable Location Anonymous, 2006-09-28 Try and limit the number of trips to the ABC stores in the area because once you buy 3 to 5 things needed for the day your bill can be up to 30 dollars. I recommend a short drive to a grocery store instead of doing all your shopping at ABC.I was very happy with my stay at the Royal Hawaiian hotel this September, in particular the location on Waikiki beach. I consistently observed beachgoers stop and try to get a spot on the beach in front of the Royal Hawaiian. The beach gets very crowded and unless you get there early you have to keep moving down the beach. One of the best features about the Royal Hawaiian is that they have a private section of the beach with lounge chairs. I recommend getting one early beacuse they get claimed pretty quick. The historical tour of the hotel is definitely worth checking out as well. The guides know the hotel extremely well and discuss Hawaiian history during the tour.
