They have an abundance of TV's with any sporting event you can think of on the screens. I wanted a specific college basketball game on, and they easily found it. Good beer selection and friendly staff complement this quaint sports bar.Very friendly housekeeping staff is always caring about your needs and your towel supply. Rooms are cozy, a little small, but you are in Honolulu and no one spends time in the rooms. A short walk to the beach and super close to the International Marketplace. Good restaurants around and this hotel is centerly placed in Waikiki. Overall, a great little hotel with a nice price! The staff are wonderful and right there for u. The accomodations is centrally located to all of your needs. Everything is in walking distance and the nightlife surrounding the hotel is superb. There is plenty of room in the hotel room and the appearance and cleanleness was exceptional great. Plan on staying there again in my future travels to Waikiki. Score 5 out of 5 Decent Lodging at Good Rate Anonymous, Huntsville, AL, 2005-11-26 Right by International Market and close to beach. We found that we got more than our money's worth at this hotel. It is far from fancy, but it is clean, comfortable and centrally located. If budget is your main concern, it is not a bad place to stay a few days at Waikiki. Score 1 out of 5 Horrible, take it off your website Emil, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-10-02 Starbuck's is right around the corner. The International Market Place is across the street. The Honolulu Prince Hotel is horrible. It seems it has been converted from an old condominium to a hotel. As we entered the hotel, trash, old furniture, and a run down driveway should have been our first clue. When we went to our room, we found pieces of newspaper scattered in the hallway and the hallway floor was dirty. The Air conditioner was broken and dripped water onto the carpet. The wash towels were neatly fan folded and tucked into the floor towel; however, it was placed at the bottom of the shower stall on top of the floor step. Gross. The water faucet constantly dripped. The water heater was located in the closet and took up most of the space. All the furniture looked old. This reminded me of a skanky motel that you would probably see in a movie. They had no other rooms, so we immediately checked out and went to the Outrigger West Hotel: Heaven! It's worth circling around a few times, otherwise you'll have to pay an arm and a leg everywhere else each day.Overall my stay at the Aston Honolulu Prince was great. The room was just as I expected, although there was no balcony. Housekeeping was great and the room as well as the entire hotel was very clean. Check in and check out were extremely easy, with no problems whatsoever. I found only a few things I did not like. You are charged $9/day for parking, and parking is very limited. I was on the waiting list the entire week of my trip and not once got to park at the hotel. There also was no pool or microwave available. Other than that I found the hotel to be great. It was right across the street from the International Market and all the shops, including Waikik beach, which was extremely convenient. Score 4 out of 5 Great Value Tony, Fayetteville, AR, 2005-07-08 BVery good buy for the money. Close to beach and International market. |
