Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Fabulous Weekend Anonymous, 2007-03-04 The condo is on the north shore, near nice beaches, quaint Hanalei town, and myrid hikes & kyak adventures. It's a great place for total relaxation. We had a lovely weekend at Marc Resort. The staff was very helpful with our late check-in, and the rental was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was equipted with everything necessary to make a meal, and I was able to catch wireless in-room. A short but slightly difficult walk leads to a very pretty beach where we saw a lot of whales playing. We will be staying there again for sure! Score 5 out of 5 Wonderful staff paul, 2007-02-25 Drive to the little town of Hanalai, only about four miles north. This town has great little restaurants, fun art galleries, and a store. It is just a relaxing place to be.We liked this place very much, and will come back here the next time we return to the island. I was surprised at the wonderful view from our unit. It was reported as a garden view unit, but we had a beautiful ocean view as well as a garden view. The hotel staff were the best. We arrived late, but they had everything clearly set up for us. Check in the next morning was so simple and easy, I have never experienced this level of courtesy and friendliness from staff. The hidden beach walk was beautiful, and the beach itself was a picture from paradise, with no people! My wife and I stayed only two nights, then went south to Poi Pou beach. I would stay at the Marc Resort anytime rather than go back to Poi Pou. Score 5 out of 5 More than wonderful Anonymous, 2006-10-15 1. Restaurant within walking distance (beings w/an "S") very welcomed for first nights dinner of traditional Hawaiin food. 2. Large Foodland, for everything we needed, was just a few blocks away. 3. Several very nice gift shops & more eating establishments also within the Foodland compound above. From the moment we opened the front door, & saw the split entry, vaulted ceilings w/fans, spacious rooms adorned with comfortable, more than ample, tropical-design furnishings, we kept remarking that The Marc Suite at Princeville was MUCH MORE than we expected. Because we arrived after dark, we could "only" (smile) hear the waves crashing "somewhere closeby", but in the morning the view of the water straight ahead & just below us almost took our breath away. The efficiency to obtain our key & directions after the office had closed, and to fix a minor problem with the doornob, was most appreciated too. Two TV's (upstairs & down), spacious closets, fully equipped kitchen, ironing board & iron, lanai furniture, kitchenette table & chairs, bookshelves (with books) & videos continued to add to the MORE than wonderful & MORE than expected. The easy access to parking lot & nearby stores & beaches made our times out of the suite very enjoyable too. Score 5 out of 5 Great View Anonymous, San Jose, CA, 2006-09-20 The beach is near byHello, we checked in when the office was closed but the key was available. So not too many comments on staff, but everything else was great, would stay there again. Fantastic views!! |
