The best for the money

The five palms was really good. Everyone must eat at Mama's Fish house while on the island, but it is pretty far from this hotel.

The Palms is the best condo on Maui. So much for your money. The gardens are wonderful. All the units have a washer and dryer in them and that is great!!!! We love the palms!!!! There are beaches really close of the hotel and great food just around the corner.

Great for the Price

Wailea beach was not too far away.

This hotel was great for the price but there were a few things that we noticed could be improved. The first was the hotel staff. They seemed to be extremely lazy when it came to cleaning the rooms. We noticed when we got there that there were food pieces in the cracks of the table from the previous guests. Also the carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed in months. The other issue was the accesability. Each room belongs to a caldesac of rooms but no roads connect them to the other rooms or the front desk. To get from our room to the front desk we had to drive out of the complex and back in the main entrance.

Beautiful scenery

Beautiful golf course nearby. Ocean view from pool patio. Locals in and around shopping areas very friendly. This was our best vacation. Maui is absolutely the place to go.

The Palms was comfortable. The patio was very scenic friendly. Took naps on lounge chairs. Ate meals out there. No restaurant in complex but good dining choices in shopping center nearby.

Huge condo for a great price

There is an outdoor shopping center nearby (sorry I can't remember the name) with everything from designer stores to Gap. We were also a short drive from the harbor that Maui Dive Shop leaves from for their Molokini dive.

My wife and I were shocked when we walked through the door. We had a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo with a full kitchen, dining area, family room, and a lanai (balcony) with enough room to have a small party! My wife and I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui.

Relaxing/Easy/Convenient

Main shopping mall in Wailea is only 15 minute walk, shops, restaurants. Beach is within walking distance from the hotel. Bars and additional shopping and restaurants are within a 10 minute drive.

Only downfall to the hotel was the quality of the beds, extremely hard. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

THE PRINCESS DINNER CRUISE IN LHAINA WAS GREAT ANDERSONS SEAFOOD IN KEHEI - BEST SEAFOOD WE WENT TO A LUAU AT THE MARRIOTT IN KANIPALI I WOULD RECOMMEND ANOTHER - NOT THAT GREAT DINNER AT I'OS IN LAHAINA WAS FANTASTIC

MY WIFE AND I WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH THE CONDO THAT WAS PROVIDED IN MAUI - IT WAS OUR FIRST TRIP THERE AND WE ONLY EXPECTED A HOTEL ROOM BUT THE CONDO WAS VERY ROOMY WITH ONE BEDROOM AND TWO BATHROOMS - THE KITCHEN WAS VERY NICE WITH ALL THE THINGS NECESSARY TO PREPAR OUR MEALS IF WE CHOOSE TO DO SO - THE STAFF WAS PLEASANT AND HELPFUL AND THE MAINTANANCE MAN CAME RIGHT AWAY TO FIX A LEAK IN THE ICEMAKER OF THE REFRIGERATOR AND RETURNED LATER TO CHECK IT - UPON HIS RETURN HE EVEN BROUGHT A BAG OF HALLOWEEN CANDY - WE WENT TO MAUI TO RENEW OUR MARRIAGE VOWS IN LAHINA AND THE DRIVE THERE WAS CLOSE - ALSO WE HAD SEVERAL THINGS TO DO AND SEE EACH DAY AND EVERY THING WAS WITHIN AN HOUR DRIVE EXCEPT FOR THE TRIP TO HANA WHICH I WOULD RECOMMEND BECAUSE OF THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY - THE ROUND TRIP WILL TAKE A FULL DAY TO ENJOY ALL THE VIEWS AND PEOPLE
