The resort is located in Kihei, on the island of Maui's beautiful south shore. The Maui Sunseeker is the perfect hotel for gorgeous Pacific Ocean views, seasonal whale watching and magical Hawaiian island sunsets. Enjoy the ocean view from your lanai or from either of our hot tubs in the sky. Take a moonlit stroll along four mile long Mai Poina 'Oe La'u Beach, just steps from your hotel door. Our location is convenient to Maui attractions such as Little Beach, the Iao Valley, Hana, Lahaina and the volcano, Haleakala. Arrangements can be made to enjoy the best of Hawaii such as seasonal whale watches, snorkeling, kayaking and biking down the volcano. Maui's best shopping, finest restaurants and luau's are nearby. Hilo Hatties is a great place for souvenirs. Eating out is generally expensive so we suggest picking up some items at Costco in Kahalui and making a few meals in. Take some sandwiches to the beach in the coolers provided. The Maui Sunseeker is a great resort close to all the amenities of fabulous restaurants, great shopping, and wonderful beaches. The small size of the resort and the wonderful helpful staff affords a more personal experience and redefines guest. We upgraded to a Junior Suite which was absolutely wonderful with a large sleeping area and a king bed. We also had a fully equipped kitchen with cook top, deluxe microwave, a refrigerator with an ice maker and all the efficiencies to easily make a few meals and eat-in. Some additional nice touches are the beach towels and coolers found in each room to take to the beach with you. From your lanai you can enjoy the courtyard which is full of lush tropical foliage, a gazebo and even a barbeque for guest use. The clothing optional rooftop sundeck with hot tub is great for getting that perfect tan and affords a beautiful view of the west Maui Mountains and incredible sunsets. My partner and I had a wonderful time and would certainly stay again on our next visit. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best! The location was great. Only 6 miles from the Airport and just across the street our own private beach. The Garden are was tranquil and beautiful with a place to Barbeque. The top deck had a hot tub and area to hang out. Free wireless internet! We would definitly come back and recommend this place to all our friends. Score 5 out of 5 Good Value! William, St Louis, MO, 2006-05-05 The Maui Sunseeker was a very nice hotel and a good value for the money. The resort is small, intimate and feels very private yet the beach is right across the street. The full kitchen in the room was well equiped with everything you might need including a blender and even a cooler to take to the beach. The furnishings were newer and the bathroom was beautiful with its slate tile. Good local dining is a short drive away and the staff is very good at suggestions. If we return to Maui we'll be sure to stay here again! |
