Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 My review of Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa rosemary, Las Vegas, NV, 2006-08-08 the hotel was beautiful, however I wish there were more dining options. staff was friendly. hotel was under construction - I called ahead of time & asked if there would be any inconvenience & was told no but one of the restaurants was closed & there were not enough restaurants to begin with. Also, there were construction crews & cones in alot of the common areas. The Wailea shops next door helped. I understand hotels do renovations & overall the hotel was still beautiful even though we were a bit inconvenienced. Score 4 out of 5 Good alternative to more expensive hotels alice, 2006-08-07 The Tommy Bahama Cafe and Longhi are great for dinner and everything from suntan lotion to Cartier and St. John are available at the shopping center. The Wailea Marriott provides good value. The rooms are comfortable, the service is friendly, and the close proximity to the shopping center makes it easy to find anything and gives alternatives to the restaurants at the hotel. There is no sand beach in front, but the black lava rock tide pools in front of teh hotel and swimming pools are a nice alternative and the neighboring Grand Wailea is a 1 minute walk along teh path. The spa is not on par with those of the other hotels , but is adequate. All in all, a good experience at a good price. |
