Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Beautiful warm and welcoming Anonymous, Columbus, OH The Maui Banyon was very comfortable. The whole unit was larger than a motel room with 2 full baths a seperate bedroom with 2 colsets. Both the bedroom and living had large patio doors. It had a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The couch was a queen pull out bed. The location was great with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The beach was acoss the street and beautiful. I would stay there again. It was only 20 to 30 min from the airport and easy to get to any part of the island you wanted. I never felt uneasy when I went anywhere without my husband. The parking structure was just across from the entire complex. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Score 5 out of 5 Very comfortable accommodations Howard, Sacramento, CA My one-bedroom suite at the Maui Banyan was clean, spacious, and very attractive. The suite was well-equipped and well-maintained. The grounds were quite nice, although a workout room would have been appreciated. The location is very central but navigating Kihei Blvd at certain times can be difficult given the very high traffic volumes. Score 5 out of 5 Nice location and good value for money Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA Try the Hawaiian Moon natural food store. Very good organic and vegetarian food. Use the drinking water refill (50c/gallon compared to $3 in a regular store). No fitness center, no business center. These two were the only drawbacks. The carpets were slightly old but this was not a big concern. Very short walk to dining, shopping etc. Very close to many beaches. Centrally location to all attractions (Lahaina, Haleakala, Airport etc) Score 5 out of 5 Maui Banyan in Kihei Justin, Eugene, OR, 2007-02-21 Mexican and greek restaurants within half a block, Denny's and other local fare a block away. This hotel/condo complex is clean and well kept. There were signs of improvements being made during our stay, but we never heard any annoying sounds. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. Parking is a bit of a problem at this resort, as there are many spaces marked reserved. Good restaurants within walking distance, and a beautiful beach right across the street. Kihei has a more local feel than the resorts at Kaanapali or Kapalua, which has it's plusses and minuses. Score 5 out of 5 Very good deal for the money Greg, Philadelphia, PA, 2006-12-16 Me and my wife visited this hotel at the beginning of December 2006. All hotels employees are very frendly and well trained. The beach right across hotel only 2 min walk. Score 5 out of 5 very nice place Darrell, Columbus, OH, 2006-10-27 things were great the only problem we had was the breaker kept popping for the air conditioner .other than that things were great .the fact that it had a washer&dryer was perfect the staff was very helpful and the rooms were very comfortable and was just across the street from the beach Score 4 out of 5 Nice Location Rachel, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-10-22 There are beautiful beaches along the coast that are located South and North of Kihei. We found ourselves walking to the small grocery store close by for amenities as well as snacks. The condo was satisfactory. It was located at a nice location in Maui and I would stay there again. The room was clean and it was spacious. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast on the premises, you have to either walk to the nearest restaurant or drive to them. The beach across from the hotel is nice. The pool was lovely. I was hoping it had a full kitchen but our room just had a small microwave and refrigerator. Score 4 out of 5 Review Pamela, 2006-09-03 No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 Large Rooms Ryan, 2006-08-31 Beach across street. Resturants down the street. The room was very nice. We went with the 2 room / 2 bath option. They basically just open a door between two rooms. However the bigger of the two rooms has a bed in one room and a pull out couch in the other. So three beds total which was perfect for what we needed. Had a full kitchen with all the plates, silverware, appliances etc... and was across from the beach! Score 5 out of 5 accessible Anonymous, 2006-07-31 hotel is close to everythingover all the hotel is perfect, staff are friendly and helpful. |
