You get what you pay for, room was a bit run down and bathroom was less than clean. But for the price..............

My review of Spartanburg-Days Inn Downtown

The room smelled like an ashtray and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The tv did not work properly and 3 out of 5 light fixtures did not work at all. The pillows had been washed so many times that the fiber filling inside them was like marbles. I was awakened at 4:30 am by arguing outside my room. The continental breakfast was not even something I considered after seeing the condition of the room. The only saving graces for this place were the location because it was within walking distance (not that I would have left my vehicle unattended in their parking lot that long) of where my meeting was taking place and the staff at check in were extremely nice. I can only hope that they are in the process of renovation or revitalization of some kind. It is a shame, however, that I will never know because I do not intend on ever staying there again.

Motel really showed wear and tear, needs updating

Converse College was a short drive away.

The Days Inn did not offer shampoo in the room. I had to use soap to wash my hair. The rooms furniture and bed looked worn out. Next time in Spartanburg I will choose to stay at a different motel.
