Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 A Breath of Relaxation Paul Abrocorn is a very busy street; take your time and you will have no problem.I was taking some very stressful tests that day along with homework it was really nice to have such a quiet, clean and well furnished (with nice desk) place to finish my work. Score 4 out of 5 Very friendly Anonymous, Atlanta, GA, 2007-02-24 There are many choices nearby. The La Quinta Inn Savannah Midtown has a good location. There are a mall, shopping center, and even a fresh market nearby. The only thing I don't like is they don't change new towels for you the next day. Score 5 out of 5 My review of La Quinta Inn Savannah Midtown Anonymous, Milwaukee, WI, 2006-11-22 A absolutely beautiful mall about 1-2 miles from the hotel. Downtown Savannah was just about 4-5 miles straight through some gorgeous neighbors, with a canopy of trees that can't be described it's so incredible. The staff was extremely accommodating. I was very pleased with the large selection of foods for the provided breakfast. I am on a special diet, and can't eat the usual donuts, muffins, biscuits, waffles or cereals. The cottage cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit were right up my alley. If this is your menu at all your locations, you can bet I will stay at your facilites more often! Wonderful location, within a short driving distance to everywhere I wanted to go. Score 5 out of 5 Pet Friendly Anonymous, Atlanta, GA, 2006-07-19 Free continental breakfast and a reasonably priced and friendly restaurant is just nextdoor. The La Quinta Midtown Savannah was very nice to allow pets. We cannot travel without taking our dog with us and we don't stay in a hotel that does not allow pets. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Charlotte, NC, 2006-05-21 Nice neighborhood. Nice dining in walking distance. Nice shopping nearby.Score 5 out of 5 Clean and comfortable Bianca, Chicago, IL, 2006-03-31 Two resturants within close walking distance but many within longer walking distance but street is quite busy to get to.The La Quinta was very clean and comfortable. I have stayed there the three times I've been to Savannah and it will be my choice always. Every request we asked from the staff was answered. The location was great, close to downtown, plenty of resturants, and mall shopping. The room had adequate space for two people with table and chairs, two double beds, and plenty of space for hanging clothes. The washer and dryer came in handy. I love the bar soap you supply. Though the toilet area was a bit crowded. Thank you for suppling the towels at the pool area, no need to use the room towels or ask for them. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-02-10 Gate to HAAF is right around the corner and they take pets for free!!!Score 5 out of 5 Reasonable and Pet Friendly Robert, 2005-12-19 The mall is only a few blocks from the motel, but is on the other side of the expressway and ony the adventerous or foolhardy would go on foot. It is a very shourt drive and the mall is very expansive, with a very large variety of stores.I like the fact that the La Qunita had a pet friendly policy without a pet fee. Most motels in the area that allow pets have a fee and I always travel with my pet, if possible. The location is convenient to all areas of Savannah. It is only a few minutes to the old downtown area or the southside. I try to stay at the La Qunita whenever I am in Savannah. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is certainly better than most motels in the price range and the location of a restaurant next door is convenient. There are many other restaurants in close proximity to the motel to meet a wide variety of tastes. Score 4 out of 5 Wireless goof up Henry, Atlanta, GA, 2005-12-18 The one thing I did not like was the wireless service. It's great that the hotel offers free wireless service. However, the connection was extremely difficult and intermittent. I have to go and sit in the hotel lobby to use it. The wireless company tries to help, but I basically got no connection in the room, and low to poor connection at the hotel lobby at best. Score 1 out of 5 Hotel needs better security Anonymous, 2005-11-22 Plenty of shopping nearby.PROBLEMS: 1. Needs better security measures for this neighborhood (i.e. inadequate parking lot lighting, inadequate perimeter walls/fences, etc.) 2. Remote Control did not work. 3. Pay-per-view Movies feature did not work. 4. The quality, selection and portion size of the food at a Denny's immediately next door to this hotel was inferior. 5. If you need to be near I-95, avoid this hotel which is 16 miles from the interstate. Access to I-95 is very difficult with poor signage and very heavy local traffic. |
