convenient to downtown Savannah

Pretty foyer,nice breakfast,convenient location.My son is a SCAD student,so I visit often.The rooms are not the greatest-smells of smoke.There is no advantage to repeat stays as a frequent visitor to Savannah unfortunately.I will look for other hotels next time

Great Free Breakfast!

If you are planning to visit the River Walk and sample the restaurants this hotel is in a great location. City Market is one block from the hotel. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We expected the usual continental breakfast. They had that...plus sausage gravy & biscuits & waffles. The fresh fruit was a tropical mix of mango, papaya & pears. Also hard boiled eggs & 4 different kinds of fruit juice. The coffee was fresh & flavorful. Enough food to not have to go out & buy a separate breakfast! The king suite was nice. The bed was very comfortable too!

Close to downtown resturants, bars and shops. Also close to several historical attractions.

The Inn at Ellis Square was an excellent choice for the vacation my husband and I took to savannah. It was within walking distance historic downtown, good neighborhood, great price compaired to the other downtown hotels and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. We were surprised how fancy the hotel was and enjoyed our king sized bed suite with high ceilings, a seperate sitting room with a couch, chair, desk and TV along with a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and sink. The bed was very soft and there were several extra pillows. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to downtown.

Riverfront Stores

The Inn was very nice and the staff gave great service. I would defintely recommend this hotel to anyone visting Savannah. the location was very close to the historic district and walk distance from many restaurants and the riverfront.

My review of Inn at Ellis Square - A Days Hotel

Our stay in avannah was great the breakfast offered by the hotel was very good. Our only complaint was that our room was never cleaned while we stayed there and the bathroom and desk were not clean. As my husband put it if they were his employees the'd be fired by the amount of dust on the office chair. Fortunatly we didn't stay in the room other than to sleep. The hotel it's self was very nice with wonderful people at the front desk very helpful what to do in the area. I would return at least one more time and I would complain this time if the room isn't taken care of.

Single Rooms Need updating

Vics on the River is right across the street and has awesome food.

We have stayed in this hotel twice. Once in a suite and once in a single room. The suite was SO nice and new. The single room looked like it was stuck in the 70's. The lobby, bar, breakfast room and business center are all brand new. The staff was great and very helpful. Both rooms were comfortable and clean.

It is only a short walk to most of the squares in the historic district but the Old Town Trolley where you can get off and on at attractions was really helpful. The trolley guides were excellent.

The Hotel was very well located, in the heart of the historic district. Was traveling with older adult who required wheelchair assistance. Staff provided wheelchair, was extremely helpful with all questions and requests.

Excellent Value and Location

There are great restaurants only a block or two from the hotel. Paula Deen's Lady and Sons restaurant is only about a block and half away. Just go and have some great Southern style food.

The Inn at Ellis Square offered a nice location and very comfortable rooms. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and all of the staff were very friendly and heplful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to tour and take in the sites of Historic Savannah. Just a great experience.
