The appearance of the room was acceptable, but the carpet was wet surrounding the air conditioner, suggesting a faulty drain pipe. The room had a disagreeable odor due to the dampness. The Desk Clerk allowed us to check two other rooms, but the odor was there, too. The location was very convenient to good restaurants nearby. When I got my room (unclean) the high speed was not working and the staff told me only half the hotel has internet. After all of the check in chaos I then had to change rooms. For my trouble the manager gave me a sticky note for a free stay at his hotel again. I would never stay there again. I called Best Western customer service and they informed me they can not do anything either because all hotels are individually owned. So not only will I not stay at that hotel I will not stay at any Best Western. At night, the place looked scary. During the day, you realize the location isn't too bad. It's close to a mall and all the surrounding restaurants. My travel partner was directed to a room number that didn't exist. After much wandering, he was redirected to the correct room. My musty smelling room had no thermostat (none of the rooms do)so you try to warm your room, only to be awakened by the heat. You dial it down a bit, only to wake up to arctic conditions. The remote for the TV in my room didn't work. The batteries were changed. It still didn't work. I was handed another remote to take back to the room. It didn't work either. The toilet only flushed if you held the handle down for about 5 seconds. The highlight of the stay was the thunder of jets flying low throughout the night.
