When I first arrived the room provided had a terrible smell and there was gum stuck to the comforter on one of the beds. My daughter did not see it and she laid down and got it in her hair. The hotel staff did not have a problem providing another room however, instead of possibly upgraded us for our inconvience they gave a much lesser room. I was not satisfied at all and would not recommend this hotel to another person. There was construction work outisde my door, in the hallways, before I was awake the next morning. (Carpet was very worn, bed seemed ready to replace). High speed internet worked flawlessly! Nice size table in the kitchen area, basic cooking utensils and a dishwasher. Comfortable sitting area with a wall between it and the bed. Staff was very pleasant & professional. Would stay here again. Gwinnett Place Mall and several other large shopping centers are within 5 miles.The price was great compared to other hotels in this area. While the physical location of the hotel is great; getting in and out of the hotel was a pain; another exit out of the hotel onto Steve Reynolds Blvd. or a back way out would be nice. The room just didn't have that fresh clean feel to it. One of the drinking glasses had lipstick on it, there was no ironing board or iron, when I pulled back the comforter (the last day I was there) and saw how disgusting the box springs looked - it made me sick. The bathtub had some disturbing, moldy looking stains in it. Just wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. I guess I would rather pay a little bit more money for something cleaner. This room just looked run down, like it needs an overhaul and a remodel. The outside of the hotel and the lobby did not look bad so I was surprised to see the room so run down.
