Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Average at best Anonymous Plenty of restaurants nearbyThe Hotel was very clean inside and outside but the Hotel staff seemed very unfriendly. Score 4 out of 5 Hotel Staff Anonymous, Fort Wayne, IN, 2006-08-02 there are numerous restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. If their was anything missing or not working properly, they resolved the problem immediately. The hotel was in the middle of remodeling. In spite of the debris and noise, we were fairly pleased with the stay. Score 3 out of 5 Nice location Kara, Nashville, TN, 2006-07-28 There are places to eat right across the street and just a short drive up the road on the right hand side is a great little italian place. This hotel had a great location. I could see that it would be a lot nicer but at the current time they were renovating, new paint, new AC's etc. The rooms were bigger than I expected and great counter space in the bathroom. Would love to stay again after the renovations are complete! Score 1 out of 5 AC Problems Craig, Charlotte, NC, 2006-04-03 Augusta National Golf CourseThe room was acceptable, EXCEPT the air conditioner did not operate properly, with the compressor inoperable. We asked for an equivalent room and were advised it was not available. Maintenance staff was called - response was that the AC was indeed inoperable, but could not be fixed until morning. We were told we had to tolerate it that night. Led to very poor (almost none) sleep, as room was extremely hot. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Augusta Suites Inn Anonymous, Gainesville, FL, 2005-12-28 Convenient to HWY 20Nothing out of the ordinary. Nice breakfast included in the morning. Rooms open to outside which I did not like. Score 5 out of 5 Pet friendly Anonymous, 2005-11-18 Check in after 3PMWe travel with our two dogs. It is hard to find hotels that are accomadating for pets. This hotel was excelent and the rooms were large enough for the dogs to have some room to move around. Score 4 out of 5 Nice and friendly hotel Dean, Greenville, SC, 2005-10-26 Starbucks and Denny's for breakfast. Fast Food for lunch and casual dining for dinner. Music and nightlife are a short walk or a short drive. The hotel staff was friendly and personable. The room was clean. The bathroom was larger than most in my executive or business class room. There were plenty of eating places to choose from within walking distance ranging from fast food to casual dining. Score 4 out of 5 Maintenance Needed Anonymous, 2005-10-23 Shopping Centers available a short distance from the hotel.I was really surprised at the appearance of the facility. When I stayed there about 3 years ago, the rooms and service was exceptional. But, that was not my experience during this visit. The light fixtures contained rust at their base, the entry door had to be forced shut, the showerhead needed to be replaced. I was also disappointed with the service while checking in. It took approximately 20 minutes just to find out if there was a room available. More than likely, I will not stay at that property again while visiting Augusta, GA. Score 5 out of 5 Very family friendly Donald, Durham/Raleigh, NC, 2005-10-03 Applebees restaurant, and a Japanese restaurant were near by. There was also a Publix marked not too far away as well as several shopping malls. The area is loaded with a variety of strip malls which is a disadvantage.Augusta Suites Inn was conveniently located off of I-20 and was clearly visible with an attractive sign. The wuite room was clean and king size bed comfortable. The amenities of microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator were in working order. The parking was good and we used a disabled spot throughout our 3 day stay. The hotel was convenient to Evans, Ga and enabled us to visit family conveniently. It also was close to River Drive and the downtown area. The buffet breakfast each morning was ample and good. The hotel is definitely a 3 star facility. Score 5 out of 5 Very Nice Gerfalene, 2005-10-02 Our room was very nice and spacious. Service was good and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. My one and only negitive commett is that the carpet needed cleaning. |
