The Columbus Marriott is located in historic downtown Columbus adjacent to the Ironworks Convention Center and RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. The Chattahoochie RiverWalk, South Commons recreation and sports complex and spectacular Springer Opera House are only one half mile away. The hotel is built around a red brick grist mill that began operating in 1861. The original brickwork was restored and incorporated into part of the hotel. This section of the Marriott houses two two-story suites with loft bedrooms, the Grist Mill Coffee Shop and three meeting rooms.
